It's been a while since I've updated my portfolio. I've cut a few things and added much more, probably too much... I'll be sorting it out the next few days. Currently, I'm working on the first few episodes of The Simpsons, season 38. 

 I'm seeking opportunities in feature design and series development. Some of the new work I've posted shows a bit of the design process, how line drawings translate into color environments, and the diversity of design required for even the longest running scripted series.

Animation is a collaborative experience, a team in sync makes the work better, shines a spotlight on the words on a script page, and immerses the audience in a new world. A giant thank you to all those I work with now and in the past, the artists and writers, and especially the production crew that keeps a show running.

I'm currently  at Starburn Industries designing for Rick + Morty. Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland have created a sure hit for Adult Swim. Great scripts, great crew, funny show. I recently did a few designs for Cartoon Network's Steven Universe. It was a great change of pace for me, a nice inky line, such fun to draw. At least for now. When the final few episodes air this summer, I will post some new designs, some of my favorite work. I designed the main location for the final episode: The Vampire State Building. I enjoy breaking away from the designs I've typically done to work in new styles. I feel comfortable drawing in any style, and enjoy switching it up a bit to do something fresh, new.
